Empressr : Ajax/Flash-based presentations

Empressr is a Ajax/Flash-based web application that lets you create, share and store presentations online. It goes beyond current presentation applications by enabling you to incorporate rich media features, like streaming video and animation, to create and share the most dynamic presentations possible. The Flash UI of Empressr is quite impressive and looks good on eye.
Though it is not the first one as it claims, is it ? Online presenations like Thumbstacks, Zoho Show, iRows and Google Spreadsheet are some other applications which does almost the same work. Perhaps its reffering to the “Flash” presentation creator.
With Empressr, you can create a rich media presentation in minutes. And you don’t need to have experience with Flash in order to create it. That’s because Empressr has an intuitive wizard that assists you in selecting the text, fonts, images and multimedia assets you wish to use - making it a snap to create an impressive presentation, all you need is a web browser to easily:
- Create rich media presentations
- Share them with a client or team members
- Store and access them at any time from any computer
We said we had the first AJAX/Flash presentation tool! and we do, and yes their are other tools out there. Try them out you’ll find that the best way to created web-based presentations is using a combination of HTML/AJAX and Flash, we are not trying to replicate powerpoint like the rest we are creating a new way of presenting information…
We have a new rollout every Tuesday (or so) so keep checking, back, the next release (not tomorrow, the following Tuesday) will allow you to incorporate external links to media within your presentation.
