AjaxTrans – An Ajax Translator

Start typing any text you want to be translated into the green field. The words should be automatically translated into the language of your choice and appear in the bluish box. To switch langauges, simply click on the language you would like to translate from and then procede to select the language you would like to translate into. In order to swap the contents of the two boxes, use a double click.

Theres nothing more too say. A simple Online Translator :) .

    It is working now….Aside from it’s lack of XML, it also appears to have several kinks. The main flaw is its inability to follow context (at least in translating to French), causing errors in syntax and grammar. Of course this is a relatively simple error and may have been deliberate (To keep high school kids from using this tool to write papers!) Overall, I think it’s a useful tool though.

    More “Aj” than “Ajax” because there is no XML in play (apart from the XMLHttpRequest object). :-)

    Very cool. The only thing they need to do is add some audio so it will read what ever I writing in the other language through my speakers. Killer.
