Microsoft Cleans Up AJAX with ‘Atlas’
BetaNews has learned that Microsoft is preparing an object oriented JavaScript framework for AJAX developers code-named “Atlas.” The first Atlas bits will arrive at PDC 2005 in September following the 2.0 release of ASP.NET, and provide developers with new options for creating Avalon enabled browser applications.
Finally something promising from the MS camp. Lets just hope its something worth using and not yet another MS’ bloated framework. It also bring in mixed feelings, I’m happy that they’re doing something to simplify life yet at the same time the hidden mean business motive remains a mystery and somewhat bothersome. (When did THEY start playing nice?)

are we so sure that microsoft isn’t simple trying another time to limit the spread of other browsers by putting out yet another thing that will only work on their product.
